NORMAL ENTRY

For Malaysian Students:

  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)/A-Level with at least Grade C in 2 courses with minimum CGPA 2.00, and credit in Mathematics at SPM level; OR
  • Matriculation/Foundation with CGPA 2.00 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; OR
  • Diploma in IT or equivalent with CGPA 2.5 (candidate with CGPA more than 2.00 can also apply and subject to AeU discretion); OR
  • Any non-IT Diploma with CGPA 2.50 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; OR
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) with 24 points

For International Students:

  • A recognised university entrance qualification such as ‘A’ level /, University Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma or equivalent
  • English skills equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 550 or AeU English Placement test.

ALTERNATIVE ENTRY

Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) Entry Requirements:

  • 21 years of age as of 1st January in the year of application
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Senate of AeU; and
  • Possess relevant work experience
  • Passed an aptitude test and APEL assessment.
