Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to:

NORMAL ENTRY

For Malaysian Students:

  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), with a CGPA of 2.5 Postgraduate Diploma in Higher EducationTeaching – A recognised Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 2 years teaching experience
  • English skills equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 550 Cambridge English : Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English : Proficiency (CPE) or Cambridge First English (CFE) or Pearson Test of English (PTE) or Malaysian University English Test (MUET). Those who have their tertiary education in English shall normally be exempted from the requirement.

For International Students:

  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), with a CGPA of 2.5.
  • English skills equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 550 or any equivalent tests approved by the AeU Senate. Those who have their tertiary education in English shall be exempted from the above requirement.

ALTERNATIVE ENTRY

Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) Entry Requirements:

  • 30 years of age as of 1st January in the year of application
  • Possess at least STPM/Diploma/equivalent (e.g. foundation) with relevant work experience
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Senate of AeU; and
  • Passed APEL assessment
